While I may have slept without waking up in the middle of the night last night, I still think that sleeping on deck is the best. I miss the seas and you guys.

Captain Del and M's,
Words just cannot express the outstanding time I had in the Bahamas with you both. You both have a great perspective and attitude on life. You are very astute and you have a wonderful fun loving way of educating both the adults and scouts, to the point where most of us remember just about all of what you taught us in such a short period of time. I just love your outlook on life. "We don't have a problem until we have a problem, we fix the problem and then we don't have a problem.” I think I'm going to try to adapt my life to that way of thinking. Also, do you still have the picture evidence for the court Marshall, [open food below deck] if so, could you put them on the website. May the seas always be calm beneath your hull. Thanks Captain for such a wonderful trip, same to you Emsey. You gave me such a wonderful experience, I'm speechless. I don't know what else to say about it But WOW! And you were right, it is a weird feeling to know that we aren't on your boat anymore, but rather someone else is. I wish you the best sailing you've ever known, and crews that will entertain you you at least half as much as we entertain you.
Thanks once again for everything, Jordan, crew 250 |

This be Dagger Dan Writin’ to check in on his favorite, and fearsome captain!
It’s been a mild summer up here in Jersey so I wonder how it is down in Paradise. Me and the crew ain’t been up to much, a bit of of plundering and a dab of pillage is all. I saw Nippers and Mangos in a show called “wild on”, featured on the entertainment network, and all the good feelings rushed back to me. I’d defiantly like to return to the sea of Abacos as soon as possible, mostly of course to see you Emsey and the ship again. We all miss it, especially Travis, Billy and myself. If yar ever needed a few northern seafaring mates to crew far ya I’d venture to say a knows a few. Let me know hows ya doin and give my regards to ya woman and ya ship, Safe voyage to ya, Dagger Dan. |

Hi guys,
We arrived back in Maryland safely. We had a great trip home. As we were boarding our plane about 5:30 PM on Saturday we were talking and realize that other people were now on our boat, it was kind of a sad feeling to know that it was really over. We had such a great time this week. What a learning experience, even though I did get ten wrong on the test. Everything I got wrong was on navigation, I was really feeling bad that day, the heat was getting to me, but I did learn a lot. I did not even know port or starboard before I came on board, Love to you both, Judy and Jeremy |

This is Dave Ross from troop 571.
Just wanted once again to thank both Del and Ems for a truly fantastic time. The kids are keeping the rest of the troop entertained with the stories, [in which lobster bisque features prominently]. For some reason food weighs heavily in the account. I believe the current tally is 10,000 times better than Philmont. I am having a real problem integrating back into life at the office and having a hard time keeping shoes on, Dave |

Captain Del and M's,
This is Dean Peterson from troop 491, the dad of Bret and Eric. Bret was your bowline champion for your first summer trip. I should tell that Bret plays the song "what do you do with the drunken sailor" on the computer all the time. He came home from the trip and found it on the web site. Thank you for sharing your life, knowledge, boat and creating an experience of a lifetime. Dean Peterson |

Hey Cap’t,
sorry I haven't e-mail you guys until just now, but I was feeling kind of down and thought about you and Emsey, and out how much fun I had on the trip. I was looking at the website and I really did he have a kind of defensive feeling whenever I saw all the other pictures of other crews on the ship, like these people were invading my ship. Kinda crazy I guess. I've told everyone about the trip, most people are very jealous, but I really do miss the Bahamas, you, Emsey and the Pecheur. I’ll include the pictures of me in the big hat that you wanted me to. So I guess that’s it, but there really isn't a day that goes by that I don’t think about my week with you guys, I could even say it's the best thing that I've done in my entire life. Thank you so much for making one of my dreams come true. Much love, David Weinhold |

Thank you Capt Del and Ems. I don’t think it’s possible to have a better time than to be on your ship. I look forward to our next sailing together. Michael |

Thanks for a great week. This is one of the best things I’ve ever done.
I don’t really have much else to say, but it was a blast! |

Ahoy Captain Del and fist mate Ems,
Thanks again for a spectacular week on your beautiful boat. You are two exceptional people and allowed the scouts, and the dads, to have a trip they will remember for the rest of their lives. Your instructions on sailing, communication, and navigation were excellent and I enjoyed them. Your pirate theme is great and the boys can't stop talking about the fun they have had. Although some complained about the anchor watches, I found them very peaceful. The quiet nights and millions of stars gave time for reflection on the day's events and the beauty of the islands and reefs that god gave us. May god bless and protect both of you and your beautiful boat. |

Dear Captain Del and Ems,
Many thanks for showing our scouts and leaders the high adventure of a lifetime. Our week with you exceeded all of our expectations, no mean feat as their expectations where in the stratosphere. The sailing, snorkeling, swimming and pirating were all superb, as was the cuisine. But the two of you are really what made this adventure unique and swashbuckling.. You're the most gracious Captain and mate in the fleet. Thanks again, Bob Greene, Scoutmaster, troop 324, Omaha, Nebraska |

Hey captain and Ems.
You guys gave me the best trip of my life. This was hands down the absolute best high aventure I've ever been on. I learned so much from the lectures you gave us. The snorkeling and sailing was really fun but I have to say that the singing at night to tell about our days, that was a blast. Captain you can really play the guitar well. Wow! There was a lot of Monty python inspiration on our boat for skits but hey, it was all good. On our flight home “Four buckets fry“ [nickname for you other people who don't know who he is, to keep a long story short it took four buckets for him to flush the head], sent a message to our plane, he took a different flight home, and had the airline people announce that “four buckets fry says Hi”. Every scout on the plane cheered while the other passengers had no idea what it meant. Well I gotta go now so I’ll email you sometime. Have fun sailing and thank you for the trip of a lifetime. I really hope I can come down again soon. Talk to you later Justin, (Bowline champion) |

Del and Ems,
Thanks again for opening your hearts up to us. You both made my time very enjoyable. We are sending some items to you with another group this Saturday. They are all from Roswell too. They are a group of twenty scouts. We'll be sending your some pictures very soon. Thanks again and try to keep in touch. The dread pirate.. Roger |

Hi! I am Alex and Michael's mom from troop 444.
I wanted to thank you for giving my boys the most wonderful experience they have had in the young lives. Neither one has stopped talking about their adventure. Michael is in the process of trying to perfect a bracelet, he's wearing three right now. Each one is better than the last. Alex is writing a novel about his time with you and I can't wait to read it. Thank you for the pictures also. It gave us a broader view of the week than just the boys photos. Thank you again and all the best to you and yours. |

Thanks for the great adventure and fun. I hope I can do it again.
Captain and Ems. You can be my captain and first mate any time!! A wonderful job!! Josh Cloud troop 417 |

Captain Del and Ems,
Thanks for a wonderful and exciting adventure. We have made it home and unpacking the loads of stuff that was in our bags. We had another small adventure getting home as one of our planes was 2 ½ late leaving Marsh Harbor. So 16 of us had to spend another night in Ft. Lauderdale. Everything was good though. Paul |

Hey guys its Stu from troop 74,
Sorry about not writing but I have been so busy with work, school, and soccer. I haven't had time to do anything. Just wondering how things are going on the boat without us. I would like to thank you for creating such a lasting memory in the Bahamas. Write back whenever you get a chance |

Hi skip and Ems,
I hope that you are having a great time with the rest of the scouts. I’ll bet they have a tough time topping out first, and best trip, Alex. |
